Create the payment
Your system works out what's owed and calls POST /payments with reference "invoice-42" and metadata such as invoice_id.

Send the payer to pay
Return the checkout URL or a payment link to your customer. They approve on their phone.

Receive the webhook
MariPay confirms the result with the provider and sends your system a signed payment.completed event.

Update your records
Verify the signature, read metadata.invoice_id and mark the invoice paid, keyed on the payment ID so it's safe to repeat.
